Full Day School Release Days:

There are a number of days throughout the year that local schools have off for various Federal Holidays and school functions. We understand that it is hard for most parents to take additional time off work with today's hectic schedules and pressures. So, the Tomorrow's Leading Knights has decided to take on these days with a mission! These full school release days will be open to the general public as well as our current students, and will be filled with a TON of great programming and activities. Each full release day will have a different theme and activity, however, we will always include some incredibly fun martial art training at the dojang.

Highlights & Details:

• Release days run from 9am - 5pm. Field trips will usually last until 3pm (if there are any), and activitiy programming will be offered between 3pm and 5pm. Each day is unique so stay tuned to the specific details of each day.

• For the general public, and those not a part of the Tomorrow's Leading Knights After School program or our regular school you also get to participate in the all programming and martial art training offered before & after the various field trips. So, don't worry about missing out on that action if you have never trained before, as everyone is welcome and get a taste of what all the excitement is about! The training on these days will be a seminar type style instead of the daily routine and be packed with a bunch of fun.

• We follow the Minneapolis Public Schools Calendar as to when Release Days are offered as even most other schools follow close to this. However, just check below for the latest updates to specific days and events.

• Lunch & Snacks ARE provided

• If you wish to participate in our Full Release Days, you must sign up at least 3 days prior to the date so our staff can make all proper arrangements.

• Fees are:
  Active Dojang Students = $53 per day
  Other Friends, Family, Public = $63 per day (No martial art experience neccesary!)

Learn the science behind music—Did you know that light affects sounds?
Experience music and dance from around the world. 

November 2nd 2012
**Gone Bug-gy**
Learn to tell the difference between an insect and a spider
Discover fun facts and myths about bugs
Create bug crafts and play bug games

January 18th 2013
**Outer-Space Day**
Go to outer-space by learning about the planets, sun, moon and space travel.

January 21st 2013
**Martin Luther King Jr Day**
Celebrate the memory of MLK Jr with activities, games and information about his dream.
 Give a speech about your own dream

February 18th 2013
**Snow day**
If there is snow we will spend some time outside playing games in the snow
If there is no snow we will have indoor winter games and activities 

March 1st 2013
** Career Day**
Receive a visit from a Fire Fighter, Nurse, Teacher, Engineer,  and others.   
Learn about different careers, play games and do activities about specific careers

Spring Break 2013
Friday March 29th—Friday April 5th
**Take a spring break trip around the world**
March 29th – India
April 1st – Korea
April 2nd – Africa
April 3rd – Australia
April 4th – Spain
April 5th – Portugal
Each day we will learn the music, dance, food and customs of that country.

May 6th 2012
**Movie Day**
We will learn how movie producers and directors create different types movies.  Then we will develop a script and record our own movie.
